It seems like everyone these days has some kind of side gig.... whether that be a blog, a photography business, makeup or skincare sales, coaching, dog sitting, etc. We're all just trying to bring home the bacon and be the best versions of ourselves by doing something we enjoy. I know sometimes these "jobs" can be viewed as annoying. The constant social media updates, the sales pitches, etc. It can get old, yes, but you have to applaud people for doing their best.

I've had several friends and family members ask how they can support me and help me grow my blog, so I thought it might be helpful to talk about how to support any entrepreneur with an online presence. It can be scary to put yourself out there.....I mean really scary! Unfortunately it is a very oversaturated market in a cruel world. Any kind of love and support means a lot and is so very appreciated! Keep scrolling to see what you can do to help support me or any other loved ones online.

1. If you like something, tell us! A nice comment means the world. Also, constructive criticism is key. Of course, if you think something we post is crap, tell us privately in a nice way so that we can improve in the future. If you think something is great, please tell us publicly in a comment!

2. Click our links. Most fashion bloggers receive a small percentage of commission from links we share. If you plan to purchase an item we talked about, using the link provided ensures we get our percentage. Other times, such as with sponsored posts, the company we are talking about tracks the views and clicks in our posts. The more views and clicks we get, the more successful the partnership, and therefore, the more likely the company is to want to work with us again. Just the small act of clicking a link we share on Facebook and visiting a blog post is a big time help.

3. Engage with our posts. Instagram and Facebook have implemented an algorithm that is, for lack of a better word, frustrating as hell. A lot of posts go unseen by our followers (and those posts take a lot of time and effort to create). If you engage with our posts (liking, commenting, sharing), they are more likely to appear on your feed and in your friend's feed as well who may not already follow us. This in turn helps us grow and gain more followers! And in this business, numbers mean everything.

I am so thankful for the friends and family that support me in my blogging journey - it truly means the world to me that anyone cares what I have to say! I have so much fun in my little corner of the internet...what started out as a creative outlet has turned into much more and for that, I have you to thank.

Until next time...

P.S. Can we talk about the crazy wind in these pictures? My poor hair. I'm over it, Oklahoma!
