Good Morning and Happy Friday! I love 4-day work weeks....why can't they all be that way? After spending the last few weekends out of town for the holidays, I am really looking forward to a few days at home to recoup and enjoy time in my favorite little city. Thanks to your suggestions, I'll be ramping up the local posts this year. I'm thinking of doing a monthly "Best of OKC" series! Each month I'll round up my favorite places in OKC for certain things (like best coffee, best boutique, best brunch, etc.). I'm excited!

In other news, I'm always sad to say goodbye to Christmas (my house looks so empty without the tree), but I love the fresh start that New Years brings! One of my favorite things to do in January is to put away the dark red and green tones and start mixing fun colors back into my wardrobe!

Obviously it is still the dead of winter so you can't go full on neon just yet, but mixing bright colors and pastels with dark winter tones like grey or black will help you transition away from the holidays and into a new season. Personally, I'm really loving soft pinks and purples right now - I had to stop myself from buying any more pink tops! I also love soft winter blues and jewel tones....and of course I wear orange all year long - Go OSU Cowboys!

What are your favorite colors to add back into your wardrobe post-fall and Christmas? Are you more of a neutrals kinda gal or can you get behind some fun colors this time of year? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!

P.S. Can we talk about how DARK my hair looks?! Ever since surgery it has been parting itself on the opposite side of my head (I think because I'm brushing it with my other hand...?). That side of my head hasn't seen the sun like...ever...so it isn't as naturally sun bleached as the rest of my hair. Its weird to see myself so red/brunette! Do you like it on me? I think I prefer the blonde but I'm embracing the dark side while it lasts!
