Romwe Sale + Thankful

Plaid Dress, c/o Romwe | Monogram Necklace - would make a great gift! | The Perfect Holiday Lip, color is Fiery
Every year at this time I'm reminded how thankful I am for my marriage! Six years ago on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving (SIX years!! What the?!) C & I went on our first official date. We got sushi....I don't recommend eating sushi on a first date, ha! I remember driving back to Dallas that night, meeting up with my BFF and gushing aaaaallll about it. I told her I wasn't going to let myself fall for him - obviously that changed! In the six years since, the holidays have become a special time for us to reflect on those first few months together and the memories we created. We became "official" on New Years Day and every holiday season since has been just as magical!

OK, gush-session over. How cute is this $25 dress from Romwe? I thought it was perfect for Thanksgiving and equally as cute for Christmas. I love the rusty plaid pattern - it is so festive! The pockets are a win and the loose silhouette will totally hide any food babies. It is a little too short for me to wear as a dress (#tallgirlprobs) so I think next time I'll pair it with jeans, booties and a belt.

Romwe is having a giant Black Friday Sale with FREE shipping, big discounts (like buy one get one) and free gift promotions! I picked out some favorites below that are holiday inspired + seriously major steals already (and will probably be even cheaper on Friday). You can use code AMANDASOK5 for $5 off your order!

What are your Turkey Day plans? We are heading to Stillwater tonight to spend the weekend at my in-laws and will have Thanksgiving Dinner there with C's family. Lots of food and fun and even more relaxation! Unfortunately I have to work on Black Friday so I'll be commuting from Stilly - OKC and back again for the last OSU game of the season on Saturday. Then, of course, Sunday will be Christmas decoration mania at our house! HoHoHo and Mistletoe! I have to get everything decorated ASAP because I am having shoulder surgery a week from today. Yikes! At least that leaves me with plenty of down time for Christmas movies, right?!

Wishing you the happiest Thanksgiving filled with family, fun and food! Be sure to check back first thing Friday for my Black Friday sale picks and shopping guide.
