Fabletics Review

fabletics review
Tammy Sports Bra | Cashel Legging

If you read my Friday Favorites life update post last week, you know I recently worked with Fabletics to create images for their website and social media pages. Basically modeling, I guess? I was so impressed that they are choosing to use REAL people as their models! Although it does make me wish I would have skipped my latest order of french fries so my stomach was a tad flatter in these pictures haha. But hey, that's life.

Needless to say, I had always wondered about the quality of Fabletics. They have a great subscription service with fantastic prices, I adore Kate Hudson, and their pieces are so stylish and cute! I was always hesitant to give it a try, though. I am pretty picky with my leggings but after shooting these outfits and wearing some of them to the gym, I'm a Fabletics believer!

This post is not sponsored, by the way. They did pay me to shoot the photos, but this blog post is all me sharing my honest review and opinion.

Some of their pieces (like these joggers) are definitely more "athleisure" and are not what I would choose to actually work out in, but they are super comfy for running around town in or doing house chores. Other pieces are more "yoga-esque" - the bras, for example, aren't quite supportive enough for CrossFit or other high intensity workouts, but they would work great for yoga, pilates, etc. where you aren't bouncing around. I think they do have more supportive bras, I just received the low-impact styles for this shoot. I love the fun patterns and the cute back details!

The leggings are 50/50. Like I said, I'm PICKY. I want my leggings to smooth me out and suck me in all while staying in place while I move and passing the see-through squat test (ha). Some styles of Fabletics leggings didn't really smooth my hail damaged booty out hahaha but others did! Some stayed up while I moved but others rolled down my belly or scooted down in the crotch. I think it just depends on the style, honestly. The hi-rise styles (like the black leggings below) typically worked best for me, so I'd recommend sticking to those. I didn't notice any of them being see-through when squatting, which is a huge plus. One pair I received even had slim pockets on the thighs which I LOVED - it makes it so convenient to carry my phone while teaching and be able to change the volume on the speakers whenever I need to.

What I really loved from Fabletics were the tops! The tanks were fitted but not skin tight, the fabric was stretchy but still sweat wicking... I will literally never have enough tank tops but I think this black Fabletics tank will be worn on repeat. The white long sleeve shirt is also great - the fabric isn't too thick anywhere but under the arms it is a bit thinner than elsewhere so it really breathes while still keeping you warm and covered. PERFECT for winter workouts.

All of their pieces ran just slightly big so if you are between sizes I'd recommend sizing down. Overall, I'd definitely recommend giving Fabletics a try! Like I said, I have extremely high legging expectations while at CrossFit but for day to day athleisure wear or lower impact workouts, Fabletics is great and their stuff is SO cute and affordable. I love that they give you a quiz to suggest pieces made specifically for your favorite workout, your body type and your preference. A few of these exact pieces are not available online just yet, but keep checking back!

Have you ever tried Fabletics? If so, I'd love to hear your thoughts. What is your go-to brand for workout wear?

Thanks so much for reading - it truly means the world!
