OKC Outlets Mother's Day Gift Guide

I'm so excited to be able to celebrate Mother's Day myself for the first time this year! It still counts even if bebé is still in my belly, right? I think yes! I know Mother's Day looks different for everyone...whether you are a mom, have a mom, love someone who is a mom, or if you've lost a baby or mom. No matter what, the special ladies in your life deserve to be celebrated, big or small! 

Everyone's love language and budget is different, but for those in Oklahoma who are the gift giving type, I picked out some items at OKC Outlets that would make perfect gifts for Mother's Day! I chose three stores for three different budgets:

1. I found lots of  "little something" gifts from The Cosmetics Company that are small and affordable - these could easily be paired with some flowers, a candle, or a blanket! They could also be combined together for a basket of goodies for the beauty lover. Most everything in store was 40-50% off with some items up to 70% off! 
2. If you're looking to give a special, higher quality gift but still have a budget in mind, Kate Spade is the place for you! They have the CUTEST designer pieces all 40-60% off - some with an additional 20% off of that! Purses, sunglasses, wallets, shoes, jewelry, phone cases....they have it all. And it is all fun, chic and timeless! 
3. Calling all husbands....you can NEVER go wrong with jewelry! Jared Vault has everything marked down 40-60% now through Mother's Day. 

Here are some of the things I picked out from each store - a Mother's Day Gift Guide, if you will! 

The Cosmetics Company Store

This was my first time shopping at The Cosmetics Company and WOW! They have such incredible brands of skincare, makeup, haircare and perfume all at discount prices. MAC, TooFaced, Smashbox, Bumble & Bumble, Clinque, Esteé Lauder, GLAMglow...the list goes on. Everything in store was around 40-50% off. One thing I really liked - for $15 you can choose six samples and make your own "beautibag," how fun! 

Two specific items I use and would recommend: MAC or TooFaced lipsticks! MAC will forever be my favorite lipstick, I have probably 18 different colors and love them all. I recently started using TooFaced Matte liquid lipsticks and really love them, too. They wear really well and don't dry out your lips. You can find both at The Cosmetics Company! One other item I want to try: Esteé Lauder Double Wear foundation....so many gals rave about it but I've always shied away from it because of the price. If I can snag it 40-60% off, though, sign me up! 

Kate Spade

I've been a Kate Spade fan for ten+ years! Fun fact: Kate Spade hosted the first event I ever went to for NYC Fashion Week. It has always been one of my favorite designer stores to visit when traveling, so it's super nice to have one locally at OKC Outlets...even better when it comes with outlets prices! There were several items that went straight on my Mother's Day wish list: a leather belt bag and a new pair of retro sunnies. Kate Spade always has the best fashion accessories, I love how everything is classic yet it makes a bold statement. Most everything in store was 40-60% off and some pieces were an additional 20% off. 

Side note: I didn't know Kate Spade had so many clothing items. If I could fit into normal sizes right now, I would have tried on some of the fabulous dresses, they were all such gorgeous statement pieces and many were perfect for spring events. They also had super soft PJ sets!! Yes, please! 

Jared Vault

If you really want to let her know how much you appreciate her, there is nothing better than a piece of jewelry she can wear for years to come. Jewelry holds such special memories! Jared Vault at OKC Outlets is actually where C picked out his wedding band seven years ago - so the store itself holds special memories for me! They have a huge variety of jewelry styles and prices...everything from wedding and engagement rings to watches to everyday pieces. 

I picked out this beautiful, dainty "Mama" necklace - every new mom needs one to commemorate the amazing, life changing journey of becoming a mom. And they are all.the.rage right now. This one stands out to me because its daintier than the big blocky letters you see online. I love that dainty necklaces can be worn with other simple necklaces, paired with a chunky chain or worn alone! I also really like the pearl ring - as Jackie Kennedy said, "pearls are always appropriate."
