Date Night in OKC

Cold Shoulder Top - 50% off! | Jeans (my all time favs) | Necklace | Bracelet | Designer Dupe Heels

It's Fridaaaaaay!!!! Even though this was a short work week, I couldn't be more excited about the weekend. The last few weekends have been extra busy and filled with fun (and WAY too much food) so I'm looking forward to having a slightly more low-key weekend this time around. And a super healthy one, ha!

Everyone says it's important to keep dating your spouse and I couldn't agree more! We get so stuck in our day-to-day routines that conversation can slide and meaningful moments seem to be few and far between. Some of mine and C's best conversations have been on road trips or over date night dinners..... whether we are laughing over high-school stories we've never shared or making a list of where we ate our Birthday/Christmas/Anniversary dinners over the span of our relationship (seriously, we've done this), we were creating memories that remind us of why we love each other.

We recently tried The Hall's Pizza Kitchen in Midtown and were blown away! They started out as a food truck and have since opened a brick and mortar location with a killer rooftop view of downtown OKC. We went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was BUSY, so we opted to sit at the bar and skip the wait. Our order took a lot longer than anticipated, so our waitress gave us a free pepperoni pizza to hold us over - talk about good customer service!

The wood fired pizza was amazing (I love a good thick crust) and the toppings were very unique. I LOVED the Beat the Heat pizza, but fair warning, the heat is intense - and that's coming from a huge jalapeño fan! The Sunday Lunch was good, as well; I really appreciated the blend of toppings, it was something I'd never thought of combining! The best part, however, was their ranch. MY GOSH it was the best ranch I've ever tasted! And of course the big jar of Hot Tamales at the exit was the perfect ending to the night. I hear they also have a great brunch on Saturdays that I'm dying to try.

Sidenote: I fully planned on taking pictures of our meal, but we devoured everything....sorry! You can see their restaurant and food on their instagram.

This outfit is my go-to date night outfit because it's super comfy to throw on after a long day but still looks kind of dressy and put together. These jeans are my all-time favorites - they are long enough for my 5'9 frame AND stretchy enough for my quadzilla legs! That literally never happens! They basically feel like leggings, they are that comfy. This top is currently on sale for $15, comes in several colors and also looks great with some cut off shorts, a baseball hat and sneaks! Versatility is the best. I linked all the color options in the widget below.

What are your weekend plans? Got any date night spots C and I need to check out in OKC? We are always looking for tasty new places to try -- we consider ourselves to be food snobs haha.

Have a great Friday night and an even better weekend!
