Hi friends! Can you believe that February has come and gone? This month went by much quicker than January...but to be fair it is three days shorter! I'm excited to be hopping on a jet plane this afternoon to go somewhere veeeerryyy chilly for the weekend. I'm definitely ready for spring weather and a bit more color in my wardrobe, but I'm OK wearing beanies and cute sweaters a few more times + I'm really looking forward to a few days away. There's a Pinterest quote that says "sometimes you just need a little adventure to cleanse the bitter taste of life from your soul," and I couldn't agree more. Not that life is bad, it's just routine. I love traveling because gives me something to look forward to and be excited about, but it also helps me appreciate my routine all at the same time.

Needless to say, stay tuned to Instagram stories to see where I'm headed! My favorite new products and purchases from February are below!

One of my New Years Resolutions was to take breaks from beauty services....partly to save money, partly to break habits and partly for health. I haven't gotten my nails done since December and it has been TOUGH (I always feel better about my life when my nails are pretty) but the overall strength of my nails is so much better since they've been able to breath! I've been using this $5 Sephora nail polish (I have the color "Cookie Break") to keep them looking pretty and I've been so impressed by how smoothly it goes on and how long it lasts. They don't look as good as when they have a fresh dip, but they definitely look good enough to get me by!

This thermal is 100% as good as everyone says it is! It's SO soft and super flattering (I size down). The back covers your bum, too, so it's great with leggings. I had similar tops from other brands and never got what the big deal was until I tried the Urban Outfitter's version......now I want it in every color!

I talked about this night cream on my stories and I'm still loving it! It smells super good! It isn't overly thick (I hate feeling like I'm going to bed covered in gunk) but it still feels really moisturizing. And, I mean, anything that says "youth preserve," am I right?

I think this is such a good dupe! And it's cheap. I've been wearing it stacked with my real Yurman bracelet and they go so well together. C gave it to me on Valentine's Day (we don't celebrate V-Day and just do $30 "little something" budget) and I love it.

OH MY GOSH. You guys. This candle is everything. It smells like a buttery, flaky bakery and I'm here for it. Stocking up now!

6. ExfoliKate Treatment
Finding a good facial exfoliant can be so hard. Some are too harsh, others aren't strong enough, some break you out, some dry you out....the list goes on! I've been using this Exfoli-kate product for a few months now and really like it! The roughness is really small (if that makes sense) so it isn't too harsh but it is still tough enough to clean up dead skin and leave your face feeling oh so smooth and refreshed! I always use it before a spray tan!

Lately I've been feeling like my hair is thinning and I'm not about it! I'm trying to grow my layers out  to thicken it up and they are just not growing as quickly as I'd like. I took matters into my own hands and started taking biotin to help speed up the process. These gummies are relatively affordable (at least more so than other brands) and they taste really good, too! I've only been taking them for a few weeks so I can't speak to how well they work, but they certainly don't hurt anything haha.

Since getting eyelash extensions back in September, I've struggled to find an eye cream to use with them (oils can eat away at the extension glue). I'm not getting any younger and my eyes have been really dry all winter so I was SO glad to find this! It is a gel so it soaks in instantly but it's packed with hyaluronic acid meaning it pumps your eye area with moisture.

I've been using THIS heat protectant spray for years and have always loved it but I was needing some right away and was at Ulta (they don't sell it there) so I picked up this Dry Bar version instead. I really like it so far! It smells like candy and it is basically weightless and textureless (no crunch or anything) - it doesn't leave any residue on your hair it just protects! This makes me want to try more of the dry bar line of products, I've heard really great things.

Random, BUT, this pasta is a staple in our house! We love pasta but we try to eat low carb so this is the perfect solution. It tastes way more like pasta than spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles do and it has a really good texture, PLUS it's packed with protein! We often eat it with shrimp or chicken in a light butter sauce.

I have several pairs of Off The Beaten Path shoes but this Storm sandal may be my favorite! It is fashionable and SO comfy! Their shoes are made to be worn on the go, and this sandal is no exception. I like that it is a tall wedge without being super high (I don't like to be taller than my husband lol). You can get a discount with code AMANDASOK on their website, otbtshoes.com!

Another item that is just as good as everyone says. I'm 5'9+ with a very athletic build (hello, quads) so it is VERY hard to find jeans that fit me but these are basically made for me! They are stretchy, they shape my butt (in a good way), they are high waisted so the hold my belly in, they don't have a gap in the back AND they're long enough. SOLD.

13. Buxom Plumping Lip Cream
14. Buxom Primer Infused Blush
Buxom sent me a PR package filled with their Wanderlust line of lip glosses and blushes. I wasn't sold at first but I've been using them the last few weeks and have really grown to love them! They are made with hyaluronic acid so they are super moisturizing (which I love). The blush is CRAZY pigmented and lasts a long time - I like the Havana [oo na na] color best, it's really light pink so the deep pigmenting isn't over the top. The lip gloss is sticky (which I don't love) but it is super tingly and helps to plump up your lips (which I DO love). The colors aren't nearly as pigmented as the blush, they can kinda get washed out, but I think they'd look good over another lippie!
SO MANY PEOPLE have been raving about this drugstore foundation! I ran out of my regular foundation (Fenty by Rihanna) and again, I was at Ulta instead of Sephora.......so I picked this up to test it out for myself. I have used the L'Oreal Infallible Pro Glow before and always loved it, so I was eager to try this new formula. I have been pleasantly surprised by how much I like it and am really impressed by the quality! It goes on smooth, is really buildable, and lasts all day. It is really breathable, too, which I like, and doesn't look cakey. I got the shade "Natural Rose".

BONUS: I had already made the collage before I tried this item BUT....... I shared it on my stories and had to include it here, too! THIS coconut coffee from Dunkin tastes like you're drinking a Samoa cookie. All it needs is a splash of milk or half & half. It's SO GOOD. You're welcome!

There ya have it, friends! Have you tried any of these items? Do you have any new products your loving? Let me know!
